LAUNCHER & GAME UI

GAME LAUNCHER

The game will update and play from a full-screen launcher.

The MAYG game launcher is what you will see when you first sign-up and when you log in.

All updates are done via the launcher after install.

Here you can select which NFT you will use, accessorize her and find out about your user stats.

All account creation, any onchain market purchases and on-chain NFT and Token interaction happen in the launcher.

This launcher will give you direct access to the marketplace, Oneechan management (under Oyabun), NFT accessory Inventory and game character load out and $MAYG withdraw requests (under Treasury).

The Game Launcher will take approximately 1 year from Beta V.1. to be feature complete as a V.1, but upon Beta Launch V.1. the market place and $MAYG token will be active.

LAUNCHER = ONCHAIN & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

As part of Account Management: the AP, $GLB & $MAYG balances at the top of the launcher represent your in-game token balance for that respective NFT. It will change when you select other NFTs in your wallet. Any $MAYG on-chain balance will not be reflected in the launcher, and only in your own Metamask Eth wallet.

If you choose to make a purchase with your $MAYG in your Eth wallet, then you will need to confirm the transaction with your Metamask wallet and pay the required gas fees. Any purchase using $MAYG that is part of your NFT in-game balance, will incur no gas fees.

IN-GAME CLIENT LOBBY

Upon pressing "Play" in the game launcher, you will go directly to the main lobby of the game client. Here you will be able to purchase Diamonds in the Beta in the 'Shop', but this is mainly for gameplay.

Pressing the Options menu in the lobby will open up the game options as seen below. You can also see the game controls as well here. The game options are always available during gameplay by pressing the ESC button.

GAMEPLAY UI

The actual gameplay screen and UI is relatively uncluttered and simple. In the top left indicates whether or not your open mic and voice chat is on. By default, the open chat is on. You can change this by pressing the ESC key and changing in the game options menu.

The top right shows the player's turn and time to act. While the green circle around the portrait shows the health of the player. As the player is hit with damage and buffs, it will be displayed on the top right side.

Finally, the bottom right is the selected weapon and the number represents the number of ammo left for that particular weapon.

WEAPONS SELECTION IN GAME

You can only select your weapon when it is your turn!

There are 3 ways to select a new weapon.

  1. Press tab and the bottom weapon select UI will open up, after you select the weapon with your mouse click, the overlay will close and you will have the new weapon, providing there is ammo left.

  2. You can also use the mouse scroll wheel, or you can use the numbers 1-6 as they hot keyed to each individual weapon.

FIRING WEAPONS

As turn-based game, once you fire your weapon, your turn automatically ends.

There is no 'defensive' element in this game other than positioning. There are certain powerups that will give temporary shields and some health but for general gameplay, it is purely offense.

Each weapon has its own firing game mechanic.

Generally the following happens, if the weapon has a power meter (bottle, bag, pumps, and suitcase)

PHASE 1: AIM MODE

(i) Once you are in the direction you want to fire, you will left-click and go into 'AIM MODE'

You will see an aiming arc, and you can use the mouse scroll wheel at that time to move into a fully 1st person view (in case the camera view is blocked in 3rd person view).

(ii) Once you are satisfied with your general aim,

you will PRESS the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON AND HOLD.

PHASE 2: POWER SHOT MODE

(i) As you HOLD the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON, a power meter will appear, either at the bottom of the screen or around the targeting reticle.

(ii) As soon as you RELEASE the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON, the projectile will be released. The aiming arc will reflect the trajectory of where the power meter was released at and the flight path of the trajectory.

PHASE 3: KABOOM & END OF TURN

(i) As soon as you release the Left Mouse button, your turn is effectively at an end. As long as you get to the power meter stage of your shot, your shot will fire past your 20-second time limit.

(ii) Any weapon with a blast radius can also do the same damage to you as well, so mistakes are really punishing in this game, whether you drop the projectile at your feet or don't throw it far enough and are still in the blast radius.

The next player's turn will still be a full 20 second from when the damage is fully dealt.
